Nordic maritime solutions appointed as marine warranty surveyors for the haliade-x prototype
Nordic Maritime Solutions has operated as an integrated part as cargo surveyors of the shipment of several thousands of wind turbines all over the world. But the company’s involvement in the shipment of the Haliade X 12MW turbine will be a milestone. The Haliade-X 12 MW is the most powerful offshore wind turbine in the world to date, featuring a 12 MW capacity (the world’s first), 220-meter rotor. In addition to being the biggest offshore wind turbine, the Haliade-X will also be the most efficient of wind turbines in the ocean with 63% capacity factor – 5 to 7% above industry standard.
